Privacy Policy

Effective 18 September 2026

Your photographs are processed on your device. This policy explains what stays there and what information is involved when you visit our website or contact us.

1. Who operates AlbumLoom

AlbumLoom is operated by Xploredatum Technolgies LLP. For privacy questions or requests, contact [email protected].

2. Your photos and album

The current editor processes imported photos and separate background images locally. It stores working image copies, thumbnails, filenames, captions, layout choices, and album settings in your browser’s IndexedDB storage. PDF generation also happens locally. The editor does not upload this album content to our servers, and we do not receive it for advertising or AI training.

Your original files are not changed. An exported PDF is saved through your browser; you decide where it goes and with whom you share it.

3. Website delivery and technical information

Cloudflare hosts and delivers this website. Requests to load the site involve technical information such as your IP address, requested URL, browser information, and request time. Cloudflare may process this information to deliver and secure the service. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy. This is separate from your locally processed photo library.

We do not add advertising trackers or third-party behavioural analytics to the application. Fonts and homepage images are served with the website. The hosting provider may use technical cookies or similar mechanisms where needed for security.

4. When you contact us

If you email us, we receive your email address, message, and anything you attach. We use that information to respond, investigate the issue, and manage related correspondence. Email service providers process messages as part of delivery. We do not sell your support messages or use them for advertising.

5. Storage, retention and deletion

Your local album remains until you delete the saved session, clear site data, or your browser removes stored data. Browser storage is not a backup and does not sync across devices. Keep your original images and download important PDFs.

Use the Sessions list to delete saved albums, “Clear current session” in the Photos panel to clear the active album, or your browser settings to delete all site data. Starting a new session preserves previous sessions. We cannot access or recover a locally stored album for you. Support correspondence is kept as needed to handle your enquiry and meet applicable recordkeeping requirements. You may email us to request deletion of correspondence we hold.

6. Your choices and requests

You choose which files the browser can access and which images to export. Contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information you have sent us, or to raise a concern. Applicable rights depend on your location and circumstances; we will handle requests under applicable law.

7. Changes

We may update this policy when the service changes. The effective date above identifies this version. If future features involve cloud photo storage or other materially different processing, we will explain that before you use them.
